Fuel Pump Installation Guide

Inspect the threads (female) on the Threaded Bung (ON TANK) to ensure it is clean and free of dirt/debris. Inspect the threads (Male) on your Fuel Transfer Pump to ensure it is clean and free of dirt/debris.

Using Fuel Approved Pipe Thread Sealant (Tape/Liquid Compound) Wrap/Apply the Thread Sealant in a Clockwise Rotation to ensure that threads are covered adequately.

Repeat Step #3 for your Fuel Suction Pipe, and ensure it is the correct length to correspond with your Fuel Transfer Tank Depth (Measured from the Threaded Bung (female) to the bottom of the Fuel Transfer Tank. Check to confirm all steps were followed accordingly.

Begin threading your Fuel Transfer Pump 2” NPT (male) Fitting, By HAND ONLY, the fitting must be turned clockwise until tight.

Make a reference mark using an erasable marker that touches both 2” NPT Fittings. Using the correct size Wrench or Pipe Wrench, continue to tighten the fitting until you have made 2 ½ - 3 Full Rotations, past your reference mark.

Threaded Installation is now complete.
